The legform impactor was developed in response to the tendency for lower extremity injuries to become severe in vehicle-to-pedestrian collisions.Designed with high biofidelity, it enables appropriate evaluation of lower extremity injury risk in pedestrian impact testing.
Following completion of evaluation in Japan and overseas, JASTI began manufacturing and selling the legform impactor in 2016.
